haven't you guys learnt by now that bill just says he's going to do random crap like this to shut people up? while you're busy speculating he can steal away to his underground lair to plan lucrative tours and his next profound artistic statement / mediocre album

Does anyone else get and early-Metallica vibe from Spiteface? I feel like maybe theres some Queen in there somewhere too.

The Vigil is highly underrated, I would love it if they broke out that one in all its New Wave glory.

spiteface is such an embarassment, I can't believe how often people mention that song. It sounds like The Trooper by Iron Maiden only ten times gayer.

Strangely, perhaps, I know what you mean. It adds a an atmospheric, strangely distant ambiance to the song. It's similar to the vibe I get from that very old REM video and song, "The One I Love". BTW, pre-Gish anything fucking rocks. I am sincerely a big fan of the sound and songs they had back then.
p.s. It's the arpeggiated chords, man. Last edited by stumpycat : 05-18-2008 at 01:46 AM. |

The B-52's are some good 80's shit, too. They make music like a trippy party carnival. (Uhhh...I'm kinda buzzed right now, so maybe that explains why I'm posting this.)
