I get it (I think!) that this entire god cult figure thing is supposed to be a joke, but it's not particularly funny to me.
besides the fact that I find it somewhat odd that a 50 year old claiming to be spiritual and oh so godly actively ridicules faith, he could have done this shit with his solo tour or hell SP 2012-2016. why the theme has to be a one-person-cult now that Iha and JC are back is what I really do not get.

Yeah, it's hard to get away with "I'm just being ironic" when he's actually on record as a known egotist who routinely diminishes the role of his colleagues in his music.

It's like when people who are actually sincerely sexist try to get away with that "ironic" sexist joke or whatever.
