Yeah...I'm not going to believe that.
Fenway's had the Rolling Stones, Jimmy Buffet, the Police, and...Radiohead? I don't know. edit: And Dave Matthews...so maybe... |

well they only have 1 show during the 2 days of bonnaroo...and it wouldn't be unheard of for a band thsi size to travel back especially with such fond experiences at bonnaroo and the tradition of bonnaroo bands repeating......but you're right, they probaby won't do it for the hassle involved.

i hope so. that would be awesome because i'm going to it for the first time this year. can;t wait for the lineup (less than 3 weeks away!)
edit: sorry, went on a major tangent there. yay radiohead! Last edited by davin : 01-10-2008 at 09:07 PM. |

yeah that mbv rumor has run rampant. ive heard a lot of rumors but im not going to believe any of them yet. im going either way. the one big name band i know is going to be there are the breeders, they've already confirmed. aside from that, don't know just yet.
there was a third day last year, so it'll stick. |

By all accounts MBV isn't playing any shows until June. I'd love it to be true, but it probably isn't.
Alot of rumour sites are saying No Doubt (ugh) is headlining one day. |

yea, we'll see soon enough.
sorry, i moved the thread since it was off topic and thought we could draw out some insiders in its own place. no doubt, eh? do they even exist anymore? i thought it was just Gwen, or as I like to call her, G-Blow. |

i also hope the arena rumors are false about radiohead and they play smaller venues. even those outdoor venue types with pavillions+lawn, though big, would be more way cooler than an arena imo.

ah, i see.
just like Rage if it happens and sells well they will do more. Thats a weird precedent set by Rage, The Police and the misinterpreted Pumpkins comeback last year that could suck for future festivals, since they already appeal to a broader spectrum of fans. more comeback bands [shiver]. |

These arenas seem a little large for Radiohead, but I dunno.

on 89x this morning they talked to the band about things (i missed the interview) but they recapped that they mentioned not being on the tour lineup and thom yorke said, "i will be seeing you and your friends in the summer." whatever that means.

yeah there's no way that they are playing the st pete times forum and american airlines arena when there are perfectly usable open air venues right around the corner.

I actually hate pavilions more than sports arenas, but both suck in comparison to more intimate venues. I just don't see Radiohead playing the Verizon Center though. Last time Pearl Jam came around I saw them there and at least half the seats were empty. And I am fairly sure that in the United States Pearl Jam is a lot more popular than Radiohead.

That place in Camden was a nice fit when I saw them there, and there it does not matter that it is the middle of the baseball season. I hope this ends up being wrong. I know they can't play the Electric Factory anymore but I really hope it's not Citizen's Bank.
