Default Filter - I'm Not The Only One

Really touching moving heartwrenching song. Probably my favorite from Title of Record.

a couple of songs on this album have d'arcy singing backup. she had a fling with richard patrick. a couple of songs are about her too. filters first record was coll but r.patrick turned into a giant douche. that is all.

every time i see the title of this song i just think of "where do we go from here"

which is fine by me, i love that song

video's such a perfect combo of sheer vocalist enthusiasm & late-90s high school house party movies it physically hurts

but ya this album's great, & the last 2 actually - enjoy listenin' to 'em

I always thought they were responsible for some of the blandest songwriting i heard.

I bought short bus because of Hey Man but man was that record bland as fuck.

How did i find my way here then?

Ok so i use to like it more than i do now. But i stoll like some of it. Small amounts yeah but some. But Short Bus is a shit record i don't care who you are.

For my taste, looking back the late 90s was pretty horrlble musically in general. you can try to deny it but you know it to be pretty true overall.

let me amend that, late 90's was pretty shit overall musically unless you don't have the right music tastes.

incredible post

if you single out american pop/rock radio from the late 90s at worst you have some fun if not totally dumb hit singles with a whole lotta dudes in backwards caps or whatev, but who's talking about just american pop/rock here

Mogwai has some truly great moments, but I've listened to quite a bit of their discog, and they are pretty boring, even for a post rock band.

I saw GYBE in San Fran on Halloween in 2000, and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, a truly transcendent experience, as cheesy as it sounds.

Basically from the time Radiohead released OK Computer no other Band has really mattered the last end of that decade and the 00's belong to them

jeez even at 14 i never believed anything like that

97-04 was their artistic glory period as far as i'm concerned but there was so much other good stuff coming out around that time it's kinda a joke to act like none of it matters

but then again of course it fucking is

I'm not saying nothing else was good or that I don't like anything else late 90's, but Radiohead is the only group from that period that really stands up as top league Beatles/Floyd/Smiths/MBV/Radiohead
