Default Spinoff: US places you want to go to

Pittsburgh, I once got to drive through but didn't stop.

Philadelphia, I've done a couple things there but they were incidental to being in Philly and I've never really done things like South Street, Reading Terminal Market, cheese steaks, etc.

Wisconsin, the Dells area to ride roller coasters but also to Madison to eat at a few places I have on my list

New Orleans

San Antonio and Austin

Anywhere in the Pacific Northwest

San Fransisco or really anywhere in California north of L.A.

Central/Northern New York State but I'm doing a roller coaster and food trip this Spring I already have planned so I will be able to do that one soon.

Are you wanting to go to the Dells to simply cross shit off a list? Because I wouldn't say the coasters there (that I've been on anyway) are worth the effort to travel for.

Hades and Avalanche would be the two that are really world-class rides, the rest would mostly just be for fun and for the experience.

I have friends who fly to Japan to ride pretty mediocre coasters, Wisconsin isn't that far.

I've been on the second one and even seeing pictures don't really remember it other than the smaller train.

Hades looks cool though, especially the tunnel areas.

Yeah man, that small train still looks daffy. And Hades is pretty good they say.

Really any coaster I haven't ridden is worth traveling to to some degree, it's just that much more compelling when there's a lot bunched together I haven't ridden and Wisconsin is one of those places left for me. Or if there are other things I'm interested in in the area.

I guess if I had time.

And oh yeah, Memphis. I forgot about there. I almost feel bad for never going when I lived in KY but that's still like 7 hours, really far.

Anyway I'd eat a lot of pork and do cocaine with Toby and avoid talking about black people.

If there was time I would probably do SFFT in half a day just to get the credits. Superman looks good for what it is but it's not really my preferred thing.

Sea World has a pretty cool Morgan coaster called Steel Eel that would be fun and I'd probably stick around to watch at least one show. Do they have sea lions doing funny human things like wearing hats and playing trumpets? I'd go see that one.

And then go get some cheap beer and tex-mex, the white trashier the better.

And then rent a car and go out to No Country For Old Men-sville and pretend like I was in a movie.

In all honesty? And not trying to be a wise-ass FUCK AMERICA vibe again, but…
There is no pat of America that holds any specific allure to me. I have no interest in seeing anything specific there, at all.

(well, maybe your outlying areas like Alaska or something, but I don’t know if that counts).

Yeah, dude. America doesn't have anything interesting - no big cities, no rain forests, no mountains, no beaches, no deserts, no prairies.

nah, it's not that, it's just that it all seems lumped into this... I dunno.
I just feel like I'd be denying myself something if i had limited opportunity to travel and ended up in America.

ravenguy if you go to Pittsburgh you should go to Kennywood. The coasters are mostly really old and probably slow by today's standards but they're still amazing to me.
