He's far more likely to reunite with Billy than James or D'arcy, that's for fucking sure. At least those two are on good terms with each other. I think. I can't remember.

my opinion is that billy must suck up his ego and work something with jimmy out. maybe jimmy just being a studio drummer and mikey doing the live shows ... something like that. to be honest SP feels kinda fake at the moment. i hope "oceania" will change things (like a hit song, a grammy, at least good reviews) ... but i doubt it.

why do those examples matter? those are all things that depend on how others see the album. wouldn't you rather want an album that you personally enjoy? would a grammy for the smashing pumpkins fill you with joy?

well ... you are correct. but most people see SP as a "joke" at a moment and as a long time fan ... that hurts me. a grammy would be an affirmation that SP is not a joke ... i don't care about the grammys. i care about SP.

the grammys are a joke. it wouldn't be good for anyone to receive a grammy. but especially the pumpkins would suffer, considering the state they're in right now.

By the time Jimmy comes back, the "band" has split. Let billy continue his ego trip, Jimmy's better off playing with other bands.

i think jimmy can play appart in SP and play with other people and have time for his family. especially if he doesn't go on tour. by the way madina lakes tweets about hearing "oceania" sound so fake to me.

"@billy Corgan and @smashingpumpkins have created one of the best records this world will ever be gifted. "Oceania" is stunning"

well time will tell if they are just kissing ass.

Stella P and the People Mover? Hopefully it doesn't sound like a mix between "Astral Planes," John Lennon's "Power to the People," and Gregorian chanting...'cuz that's what I'm imagining it to be.

i don't give a fuck about iha and d'arcy. they made millions on billy's songs. i think there is still a chance that jimmy works with SP.

guys remember when Jimmy got fired and Billy said 100% he would never come back on MTV and then Billy hired him again and a bunch of fans online were like fuck you billy, you liar

it's a good thing that was the only time anything like that happened!

Ok, since Skysaw was D.O.A., maybe when Mikey goes to college or whatever Jimmy will come back.

Why do you let other people control your opinions on music? If you truly didn't, you wouldn't care what people think about it.

Furthermore, the Grammies are themselves a joke, so wouldn't SP winning a Grammy just be more proof of how God-awful they've become?

If you listen to the recent Skysaw interviews and even those DW Drum videos, he sounds much happier out of the Pumpkins. Doesn't look like he'll be back soon even if Billy opens the doors.

That's because Jimmy is a class act, he isn't going to be petty and throw everyone and their brother under the bus like b0lly does.

I do really hope to see an all four original members reunion tour someday though.

billy and jimmy are only in their 40s, will probably be musically active the rest of their lives, and are on relatively good terms

when you think about, it it's far less likely they won't work together again. just don't expect it soon
