I'm not trying to be mean-spirited Monte... but here's how I see the issue: You got tickets to all the shows. Admirable. You bought yourself a fancy camera, sweet! You said "A DVD / week for 13 weeks till they're all out!" Rock on d00d!

Seeing that you had an amazing opportunity, coupled with your enthusiasm, the community offered to get you appropriate gear to audio tape the shows... we tried to warn you that video inevitably runs into significant problems. This offer fell completely on deaf ears and you didn't take us up on any audio gear.

You attended the shows.. and it was a shaky start. No sweat.. there's still plenty more shows to get things figured out.. possibly change the plan of attack and get different gear.. who knows.

Then the bitching starts around show #4. From then on it's nothing but a bitchfest. You continue to wait 8+ hours in line, spending all day on your iPhone bitching about life, how the shows suck, how you wish you didn't have to wait in line. If you don't enjoy the shows and if 'gossamer makes [you] want to take a nap' and you just can't handle the 3 hours of rock, sell your tickets! Don't videotape! But no, you kept coming to Netphoria to bitch, bitch, bitch.

So now the shows are over and you've openly admitted how much you hated the entire experience. You can't stand the music or the band. Yet where are you? On Netphoria again, bitching.

So I ask: Why are you continually holding on to this experience? The tons of raw footage you're supposed to have... when by all accounts you couldn't have had a more miserable time!? I tried to warn you that videotaping is hard work, you can't use a tripod at these shows, there are tape flips... and in the end who wants to sit down and watch a 3-hour concert DVD more than once ... in a lifetime?

Where are the 13 DVDs, one per week? If it's too big a project for you to handle, why haven't you enlisted help? Why a whole year before any of this shit gets released? You set the expectations up front.. and then completely bail on them? I'm not even touching the fact that you offered downloads for money ...

Whatever it takes to get these shows out in reasonable quality and availability (that means dvd + torrent), let me or any of the other tapers know. There are people that can get the job done. The fact that you're still holding on to this material when you HATED the experience baffles my mind.

Get it out, archive it, and be done with it.

the camera i bought, i don't like. even to this day. the taping video of the show was really hard w/o tripod along a number of things u mention. and don't own a iPhone..

i didn't like the music and yet i went to Las Vegas, Utah, Colorado, North & South Carolina...?

I have the right to praise or complain about things on this board, just like everyone else.

I have acttually held off on doing any of the shows so far because of lack of audio for all the shows.

I acttually have watched the shows again and again in parts and enjoy to know that I have a copy of each show (minus Las Vegas and most of Colorado) in full. its a novelty for me to have something to remind me of a year that I went out and did something I wanted to.

Monte, I could really give two shits less if you get the stuff out. I hate the pumpkins nows. Plus, I know how hard it is to do video caps and edit it up for dvds (much less vhs). I have about 8 1st-2nd gen tapes that I have capped that I have done nothing with merely because it is such a pain in the ass (and i really cannot stand tsp any longer).
