my paper as almost at 11000 words right now. i have a midterm on wed (though it's really late since the hurricane. should have been 2 weeks ago). and i have two projects due for my other two classes, one by next week and one in a month. also other assignments and tests but they are all easy. i have like perfect grades so far in these two classes. i also am writing personal statement etc and requesting recommendation letters. the prof i had 5 classes with wants me to send him a recommendation about myself that he can go off to write his. which is fair. but im bad at saying good things about myself right now sitting in the comp lab eating some shitty chinese from the food store on campus in between writing |

i went home really bummed about a test and felt myself tearing up on the train. when tim opened the front door he asked what was wrong and i cried 'i did really poorly on my test' and the tears flowed like butter.
it feels like a waste of time and adds insult to injury to think of all the time i dedicated (studied) just to fail |

i had a project due a few weeks ago and i realized 4 days after i did it that i submitted it online instead of emailing it to her. if she gave me a 0 for it i would have fucked my gpa, highest grade possible would have been a B+. but she said it's ok she just suggests i follow the directions closely next time (lol i dun goofed) |

You also just used the word took (recondite sails under crimson skies!) twice without proper homage.

i just had to take college algebra and methods of calc but i had remedial algebra before that for elective credit. i hadn't done maths in a long time. also there was a lot of math in chemistry
at university (junior/senior) i have only had to take statistics. and they'll be more advanced stats in grad school. stats is barely math though it's mostly logic in designing valid experiments and picking the right technique for the job etc. mostly it's plug and play in the actual computations. it's funny, at this school you take a 3 credit experimental design and statistics course and do all this shit by hand (w/ basic calculator). then you take a 1 credit course where you learn to plug it all into SPSS (stats program) and it does everything for you. still very important to understand the basics behind what it is doing and what hypothesis testing is and where the threshold is for significance etc but let's be real most people still didn't understand jack shit except the that if p < .05 they were good |

My minor was something vague like International Studies and Relations. I think my only C was in speech (required) because I fucking SUCK at pubic speaking. I was in the Spanish language honors society (Alpha Mu Gamma), Phi Theta Kappa, Golden Key, Dean's List and I don't recall anything. Or do anything with the fucking degree. College was a bad call for me, I should have traveled and then gotten a bullshit job. I don't have any student loan debt because I got a lot of grants and had help paying the rest off. It was just a state school though, not Harvard or anything. I bet I would be readily accepted into a Masters Program with my academic record but there's nothing I really want to do, and there never has been.

I want to go to both so bad and give my kid a half Asian sibling
Srsly. I just need a TEFL cert and I could go to Korea right now. I'd rather teach college students that have a better grasp on the language and are past the bratty kid or teenage stage though, so I'd need a masters. Especially in Japan. But Korea is slightly more preferable to me anyway. I just am too afraid, and don't think I can take a baby with me anyway, tbh |

who are you talking to? we're all adults (except elph); just because we talk about school doesn't mean we're naive and sheltered from real-life.
no need to try to sound like a big girl. |
