it had to be luck. I just kept giving my tix up if they weren't within 10 rows...I must've pulled it on my 20th try or so. Looks like someone else got that "Gold Ring Seating" too a couple posts up. Seriously though, keep trying, you may be able to pull it off.

Awesome. Are you going by yourself as well? My husband is going to be watching our daughter and I don't know anyone else willing to drive to Iowa to see the SP.

Maybe for other artists, it's like "Premier seating for VIPS" or something? Just a hunch.

When I saw them in Normal, it was all seated, I was 19 rows back I think, and it was still a great seat. Depending on the venue, I'm sure a lot of the seats in the house are good.

well done, sec B row ZZ people. i hate you.

i'm in sec C row K with JR. much better seeats than we pulled yesterday. Eulogy and others should remember, pre-sales are a fucking sham. they can be great if you know the General onsale will be a quick sell-out, but they can also screw you by throwing you too far back, too early.

my general rule is unless its the first 10 rows, i let the pre-sale go and wait for general.

No, I'm not crazy like Monte. We were already driving cross-country because we're moving to Michigan. The Iowa and Hammond shows only add a slight detour and a few days to our trip, plus I get to see old friends in Chicago. It's all just really great timing.

well, i was pleasantly surprised that i got tickets at all, and even more surprised at what i got. i ordered 6 tickets together so i thought it would be bad seating but:
Section C Row F Seats 1-6. so that's what, like 10-15 rows from the stage and dead center on the main isle? pretty decent if you ask me. this place does look as small as the Normal show last fall, so any seat should be a good one.

next, is it worth it to record this show on MD? i've had the same setup since about 2002 so i'm sure people have better stuff. i recorded the Normal show too, but then found out that tons of others did too, even had a video come out! so, is this show covered and i can just enjoy myself or should i record it anyway? *discuss amongst yourselves*

i'd love to finally meet some netphorians. i figured i would have by now. i wore a shirt with my user name on it to the 2000 united center show thinking i would see others too, but no go.

should be another great time!
