Default Adore 2014 remaster

What is the general opinion on this? Is it better than the original?

I'm an idiot...I had 2 adore vinyl (orignal) (en eBayer sold me two copies for a steal), gave one to my gf and sold the other one..now i'm left with none :/ Well..i'll see her soon..she told me I could take it back with me.

Sonically comparing the digital and the mono mix of adore, I highly tend to the mono version thus the vinyl. The instruments really sound better in the mono mix.

Oh yeah, the bonus tracks alone are really worth getting the remasters. Btw, have any of you guys experienced problems with vinyl playback?

I've heard that the remaster isn't as good, same with mono. But still, I quite enjoy the mono mix, remastered or vinyl.

mono rules.

ashes in the snow, pure as snow, gone, are you there, Jackie says, etc etc are all SENESCENT compositions.

also, I can't find the adore remaster dvd anywhere. but please don't let me know where to find it, lest we bring down the wrath of paluka (pakula? lupaka? kapalu?) upon our hapless heads.

Yeah there were two instances where the songs briefly lapsed into stereo. I and (I think) Guitaro listed them in that other thread.

Not really clear.. you mean you tried their mom or the internet?

Also, despite what you may think, you're really not funny.

More than two instances, and more than a lapse.

This is the stereo information of the Adore mono disc, I inverted the waveform of one of the channels, then combined them together to cancel out everything that is panned to the centre. If it was really in mono, the result would be a flat line, or a near-flat line.

THE PLOT THICKENS!!!

Actually, I wonder if some tracks have phase problems that prevent true mono mixes. If you convert the "mono" Tear to true mono...the drums sound all sorts of fucked up.

the mono vinyl mix is different enough to warrant an assumption that it's not just the stereo mix summed to mono.
I don't know why they didn't just use those mixes...

Is the vinyl mono mix different to the reissue?
