People have different passions. I really fucking love Rock music and culture.

If I just wanted to sleep with this girl it wouldn't matter. But it's not like that. I want to keep talking about music and I want to go to concerts with her.

If that's what you want: You should just find some cute girl that knows NOTHING about music. That's the funnest. Having the experience of showing her the most groundbreaking stuff for the FIRST time and then discussing what she thought about it with her. Taking some clueless girl to her first awesome concert is also an immensely satisfying experience.

I don't know why you're so bent outta shape about finding some broad who likes similar bands that you do. Seems pretty close minded man.

You're an idiot.

And young people don't call much anymore because it's a hassle for everyone. It has nothing to do with your weird assumption that "nerds can only text because calling is scary".
I got this girl's number by directly asking for it.

You asked for her number.....great. But instead of picking up the phone and firmly making a strong impression while having a conversation with her you decided to pursue the situation with your tail between your legs and sent her an "SMS text message".

Is it any wonder why she's not bothering with you? She probably thinks yer a nerd. Just pick up the phone and try to make a direct plan with her for crying out loud.

Why would you want to talk to someone who knows nothing about what you like to talk about?

You've got a lot to learn young grasshopper.

I can't poke fun at you though. I was ultimately the same way when I was 20.

Don't put too much importance in this kind of thing though. Trust me, you WILL grow out of it and might regret some of your romantic decisions later on.

Everythings all in good fun. But when you ditch some awesome girl for someone you think is rad because of their musical tastes you'll likely regret it later on.

I'm telling you though. It's much funner finding some awesome girl who knows NOTHING about music. You have that awesome experience of sharing SO many awesome bands with her for the very first time! That's what it's all about man

Are you sure she is still alive? Phone dropped in toilet? Abducted? Grounded?

I have no idea what happened. It's likely she's just busy.

The last thing I want to do is bug someone who doesn't want to talk to me.

And she works random schedules. She's likely to be working or in class when I call. (This is why texts are preferable for young people)

Pretty much what I do in all these situations is pretend it doesn't bother me. Gotta hide the fact that I'm not as busy as I should be.

We were gonna see NIN but we missed them. So I was like how about Pixies? And she was like "Yeah, for sure"
And she was like are they playing The House of Blues? And I was like no they are playing this other venue
And she was like this is going to be my first time going there.

I WAS GOING TO GET TO GO SEE PIXIES WITH A PRETTY GIRL.

Ouch man... She blew you off once already? And then you asked her to the Pixies and she said "yeah for sure"... She's not interested at all man. "Yeah for sure" after ditching you once already is basically a big, fat NO.

I think she's probably just reached her breaking point with you texting her so she's just trying to send a message by ignoring you. Sorry Holmes

Besides if she liked you enough to go see the Pixies with you, she would likely be interested in getting to hang out with you sometime, days before the show as well.

No we missed them in that we were both like "Hey isn't NIN coming here" but it turned they already were here last week.

fuzzy you sound like an old man. you dont know how 20 year olds communicate. people dont talk on the phone. it doesnt mean he's a 'nerd' or that the 'broad' lost interest. its just not as common anymore.

i mean she might be blowing elph off, i dont know. but seriously you sound like a grandpa

elph she will get back to you if/when she wants to. i would let it go for now.
