I still think this is for his second solo LP.

They’ll do a summer tour with James and Jimmy, he’ll play his solo stuff on it too, but the actual reunion album will be them jamming and recording together for a while for an album in a year or two.

Jimmy turning up as a drummer for hire on a Billy solo record, and James touring with them, is good - but still not a full Smashing Pumpkins reunion.
