Billy is probably harder to deal with. But at least back in the day the band was the band. While the Foo Fighters always seemed more like Dave's employees.

so? do you honestly think The Smashing Pumpkins have fared better than Foo Fighters in the long run? not talking musically, just as an actual, healthy operation. Billy probably envies the fuck out of Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor, etc's situation & wishes he'd never given the pretense of Pumpkins being an "actual band"

No doubt Foo Fighters have been healthier and somehow managed to gain an unbelievable fanbase
