I collect sports memorabilia. Nothing wrong with that. I have quite the vast, wide-spanning collection. Having a stockpile of valuable collectibles is never a bad thing.

I disagree. I remember the show getting dumber as it went on though.

In the first season, the mom dies and Sagget is a single dad with 3 kids and is overwhelmed with grief and doesn't know how he'll raise 2 kids and a newborn baby on his own... So he brings in his wacky comedian best-friend and his rock and roller brother in law to live in the house. So the first season is all about juggling the lifestyle of the 2 guys in a household with children. It's quite comical.

In the later seasons Jesse and Joey become part of the furniture in the house and it gets quite stupid... Especially when Jesse moves his wife and newborn twins into the attic of the house... I mean, really? lol

I mean it is still incredibly milquetoast type humor, but it's got some fun dialogue.

I also have a Different Strokes Season 1 boxset that I've been revisiting. Gary Coleman is a United States national treasure.

This is a place where a woman got raped by cops when she went to the police to file a rape report.

You should borrow against that immensely valuable collection of yours and upgrade from the basement suite.

I mean, it's not like you've just been stocking up on decorated trash that's pumped out in volume to fleece the gormless of their money. We're not talking about dropping $150 on a stainless steel turd to weigh your wrist down, here.

Well, if you must know, I've built up my collection while being quite frugal... Flea Markets, Card meets... People just wanting to get rid of their shit.

One mans junk is another mans treasure.

Collector 101 right there

Who cares man? I enjoy it. I know if I sold it on Ebay, I'd make some money.

I like to think of myself as a counterculture historian of sorts

I sometimes get introspective and realize that it's kind of pathetic and what not when a 31 year old man is at a Value Village check out reeking of whiskey and ringing in VHS copies of Ducktales for himself, but life is fucked and it is what it is

Well everyone is entitled to their own perception. I've always had compassion and decidedly aligned myself with the haywire guys that people wrote off as outcasts or fuckups... It's definitely bit me in the ass a lot in life though... But it's something I feel in my soul. I guess I've always been destined for a life of pain and sadness

What does decidedly aligning yourself with outcasts have to do with watching Full House alone while alphabetizing baseball cards?
