if i wanted to make Adore shorter, Perfect would probably be the first one to go.

it might fit better on a double album, MCIS style... listening to the extras from the deluxe set, i guess Adore could have been two-discs; one of all super electro à la Pug/Eye and one of all ballady acousto stuff

weren't there rumors in 97 that SP was coming out with two albums, in this vein? i think the acoustic was rumored to be named 'autumn nocture'...

Perfect is indeed amazing, actually one of the first Pumpkins songs I really loved. The drum beat and lyrics are both great

it's funny i like the first three songs on this album and remember them still but i listened to the reissue and ultimately this album for the first time in a very long while and i remember why i couldn't ever remember any of these songs you talk about like crestfallen pug daphne descends pretty much the back half of the record except appels + oranjes because it's godawful and blank page because it's alright but man i just don't like this record. at all.
