I am pretty glad that both women still want to be my friends. And both of them clearly stated that they are no longer interested, rather than just ghosting me. there's a big change coming, trust me. women in their late 20s and beyond that are actively dating tend to behave far, far less ambiguously. no one past that age has the desire for games anymore, and they aren't afraid to spell out what they want so they can get it, or move on if it's not right for them.

Somebody whose never been in a relationship by age 50 isn't likely to ever be in one. And those people, though rare, do exist.

DK I certainly didn't mean wait until you're 30 to pursue anything! I meant it more like the "game" aspect that seems so insurmountable will be practically gone by then, and honesty/directness much more valued. Basically, hang in there and continue to work on improving your confidence and take a little solace in the fact that people don't act so contradictory forever.
