Thanks guys. It's not actually a sure thing. The "mobility team" who organises all the flight and accommodation bookings is in a different country to the hiring team who does background checks. So I don't think they're necessarily talking to each other.

It's a senior devops engineer role. So not a high paid finance role that would give us proper options in Singapore. We'll be he same middle class that we are here. Just...with more pollution and heat.

Phultoke update: sitting in my new clean apartment (Yesenia found it for me yay!) with a bottle of wine, my vape pen (hawaiian rush 75%) and Moana on my laptop. My next door neighbor is a super fine single mom..she has shaken my hand AND smiled at me. repeatedly. smiled that is not shook repeatedly.
