i saw dan deacon. no age, and deerhunter on seperate nights at calgary's sled island festival last year... i wonder if that's when they all decided to get together? :P this should be a great tour providing deerhunter can get their live sound together

The Wicked Awesomes played a short set for basically just two other people and me tonight since they were staying at a friend's place in Portland... which is also essentially a house venue, 'the bloodbank.' They're a darn good band from Canada. Not upcoming but whatever.
