you ever meet those people that hush you and then wave you over suddenly like it's a covert operation because they saw a moose in the woods

it's also the least halloweeny Cramps song I don't understand the song choice

why wouldn't you do Zombie Dance or Teenage Werewolf or Goo Goo Muck

or since they were intent on doing a more popular tune just do Human Fly

Bellamy is not fit to taste the sweat off Lux Interior's zombie ballsack

edit: wait Zombie Dance informs us that Zombies "don't get sweaty"

do these guys have any solid albums or are they more of a songs band? I downloaded the one with Starlight but I didn't like most of it.

Anybody who uses these pedals is kind of a freak and anyone that can tame it and seamlessly mold this fuzz into their sound is kind of a genius.

Muse is a sterile emotionless version of what the chilli peppers would have been without anthony kiedis, or blind melon without shannon hoon. Decent musical accomplishment and a solid understanding of song structure, lacking that last member who has enough genuine personality and natural ability with words, to make the music fully human.

Muse is what a computer programmed to make rock music, would make.

Matt Bellamy has a great voice but he's just such a fucking wet behind the ears tool I just wanna stuff his mouth full of dirty socks

As someone who isn't super familiar with their music and used to really not like them, I don't think you are right. They are all pretty good musicians (I just don't like the key player).

But regardless, the vast majority of bands are one especially talented person and her/his backup musicians

Yah, but, somebody's got to do it.

You're on to something though... I've read where their obsession with sound reached the micro'est levels of frequency and mic angles in the studio. It's over the top but also so technically astute in acoustics their focus on the finest details creates a standard on its own. I get it why some bag on them, but it goes back to 'somebody's gotta do it' and Rush built a 40 year career paying hyper attention to their sound. That's Muse's trajectory, like it or not.
