i recall being at the Cow Palace many moons ago...

the Match: Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Mr. Fuji. an absolute cheatfest of the highest proportions. whenever Fuji would have Piper in a headlock, he'd give him a chop and right on cue Piper would jerk his neck around and huge lugie would be spat out on to the crowd. just precious stuff, really.

after a long match, Fuji ended up winning but Piper refused to take the defeat. instead, he absolutely beat the living shit out of the referee, chucking him all over the ring and quite seriously taking no mercy on the guy. they had to take get him out of the ring on a stretcher. classic Piper.

I'm not much into wrestling anymore, too much to keep up with, but I remember when i was like 6 or 7, my dad took me to a WWF match at at the Summit in Houston. The headlining match was Hogan and Tidal Wave (that HUUUGE fatass!). Tidal Wave won, but Hogan refused defeat, so he BODYSLAMMED Tidal Wave who was like 3 times his size, literally, and the crowd went nuts. ahh memories....
