well if you pass off every band outside top-40 as a hipster band, i'm not surprised you don't like anything.

Even then you could still count the number of truly great 90's bands that made the top 40 on one hand probably. Idk

anyone who boasts about being old enough to be alive to enjoy the music of the golden age that was 90's is a lost cause.

This one time I was in some Pita Pit store being served by this guy probably in his 50's, and while he was assembling my sandwich I heard a couple of songs by The Who played back to back on their radio. I made a comment like "This radio station sure loves The Who" and he said "I'm surprised you recognised it, they're a bit before your time". I was wearing an Unknown Pleasures shirt at the time.

Fuzzyroes is to the 80's and 90's what that guy is to the 60's and 70's.

why do you insist on using that word all the fucking time. it seems like the only thing that makes it "hipster shit" is that you don't like it/understand it

YOU ARE A GODDAMN IDIOT

THE ONLY GOLDEN AGE OF THE 90S WAS HIP HOP SO FUCK YOU DUDE

POST INTERNET ROCK IS SO MUCH MORE DIVERSE AND THERE'S SO MUCH OUT THERE BUT ALL YOU EVER GIVE A FUCK ABOUT IS WHAT THEY SPOON FEED TO YOU ON THE RADIO

IF THE RADIO DOESN'T PLEASE YOU , YOU TURN IT OFF AND PUT ON THE BANDS THAT THE RADIO PLAYED FOR YOU TWENTY YEARS AGO

YOU'RE A FUCKING JOKE

YOU THINK YOU'RE SOME KIND OF INDEPENDENT FREE THINKER, IT'S WHAT PISSES ME OFF THE MOST

ANOTHER HORRIBLE THING IS THAT WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT "THE 90S" BEING A GOLDEN AGE YOU'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT SLEATER-KINNEY, MODEST MOUSE, OR BUILT TO SPILL

YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT STONE TEMPLE PILOTS AND THE TRAGICALLY HIP

KILL YOURSELF, RIGHT NOW.

all you need to know about elph is that he's a "post-punk" fan but he thinks wire is overrated

all you need to know about fuzzy is that he's a fuckin idiot who relies on the radio to tell him what bands to like
