I am pretty sure there is a cheaper version though I am not sure what the difference between the two is.

The audio version is $70, the DVD version is $200 and the Blu-Ray version is $300.

it all sounds like a complete rip off and bastardization of what blu ray is supposed to offer. even the dvd version seems a bit much. oh well, ill probably download it.

I think Neil is completely confident that people will pay for it - because most people want the audio and video, and if you're going for it, might as well go all in, right? I think the Netphoria demographic really isn't the typical Neil Young demographic.

Most people who are buying the box set as you read this have no idea what a torrent even is, yet alone how to work one. I know that sounds like a sweeping stereotype, but really - we're not your "average" Neil fan.

As for me - if I was buying anything, I'd buy the blu-ray edition and be done with it. Why?
