All the bald guys on the Adore tour
I remember watching Adore footage when it was new and I thought it was lame how the whole backing band was completely bald. It seemed so obvious that Corgan went out of his way to do it for some kinda stylistic statement, thinking it was unique or something
When I got older I wasn't sure if it was just a coincidence, but I mean this is the guy that hired ugly people to hang out with him to make him look better. So I figure he was just insecure about being bald so he thought it would be cool to hire a bunch of other baldy's. Why else would Kenny Aronoff get the gig? *minds blown* |

Kenny has toured with a shitload of very successful bands, before and after SP. Ain't like he was Mike Byrne.

I know that. But with an ego maniac like Billy, I just don't think he randomly aquires 3 new backup musicians who all happen to be completely bald by happenstance.

Billy was big on the image of the band and was always largely calling the shots. He probably had some insecurities about being bald as a cue-ball so thought it would be a cool look to have a band full of bald guys.
Guys pretty much looked like the blue man group on that tour |

SP on the Adore tour had 4 guys without a single hair on their heads.
You're telling me that just happened to be a "happy" coincidence?.... get real. It was another awful style direction put into place by the tyrant Corgan. |

Let me guess,
next you're going to be telling me that it was a collective band decision to dress in black leather dresses during the Machina era? |

no shit man. but as I said, it's a stylistic decision. The fact that the 4 guys in the band take the same stylistic route had to be premeditated.

point is, I think Corgan hired the guys accordingly to fit the stupid image he had in mind for the tour.

in 1998 it was still a new hip fashion thing for bald men to shave their heads off completely. I guess it was Corgan who set the trend because before him, only Michael Stipe did it.

Idiots. It was obviously Ramses II, as seen in THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, who set this trend circa 2000 B.C.
