Also a visit to my Samoan family in Auckland meant driving around getting a complimentary back massage from the bass speakers, in the back seat of a Ford with awesome tunes like this drowning out any thoughts I might have had about the situation:

Did you know that there are Reggae Christmas Carols? Not different songs or anything, just your regular carols sung in reggae style. Yep. It was a different world in south and west Auckland.

i was thinking earlier about how much shorter of a "public lifespan" a lot of bands in the 90s seemed to have compared to say, pretty much all of the 60s-70s where bands'd have like 7 albums the public would eat up & hold in about the same level of high esteem, with a decade or two of general popularity

the 90s you were lucky if you got 1 or 2 big albums with maybe 5 years of big band success

& the sneaker pimps weren't 1-hit wonders, lol

Mals Marola Socialphobic Location: Your god damn living room Posts: 10,000	probably i was thinking earlier about how much shorter of a "public lifespan" a lot of bands in the 90s seemed to have compared to say, pretty much all of the 60s-70s where bands'd have like 7 albums the public would eat up & hold in about the same level of high esteem, with a decade or two of general popularity the 90s you were lucky if you got 1 or 2 big albums with maybe 5 years of big band success & the sneaker pimps weren't 1-hit wonders, lol

We've already established that you love music that me and many other people here hate and that you hate lots of music that me and many other people love. So why do you keep on insisting on trying to browbeat everyone with your opinions as though they should listen to them and give them some consideration?
