i just paid 35 bucks for it and the dandys aren't on a label or anything anymore. buy it. they're not exactly a really popular band and i think they need all the support they can get. i'd be happy to up their recent soundtrack song Good Luck Chuck though. if you want to hear it the whole thing is streaming from their site, i think, and there's 5 or 6 tracks on their myspace.

i didn't like Monkey House (the Are Sound version of the album is better though) but i liked most of the last album. i could've done without the intro, the interlude, and the last track though.

All I have is Thirteen Tales but I really like it, I hear their other stuff isn't as good though.

Are any of their other albums worth it/if so which?

The Dandy Warhols Come Down is definitely their best album. Their first one is also good.

I would but I am very poor at the moment. As in I'm selling things on ebay for cash and turning over couch cushions for postage.

i agree. but Come Down is where i came on board, so i'm biased. 13 Tales might be their strongest, most consistent album though. but Come Down is by far my favorite. while 13 Tales is (almost) all pop, Come Down has a almost equal mix of pop, slow druggy songs, and long psychedelic jams. their b-side cd also has a lot of great material that didn't make the albums.

I don't understand what you're getting at. Who is comparable to what I said about them?
