he dumped earnhardt, jr.

and he's a brilliant driver. the best talent to enter the sport since gordon, if you ask me.

NASCAR is the dumbest thing ever. Only in a country with so many stupid hicks would a "sport" like this take off.

no?

he's a very, very talented driver. he always has been, and he continues to develop. he's going to be downright scary in two years. he will win a championship sometime between now and 2010.

no i'm not. i won't dispute these points. can you tell me how they contradict anything i've said?

(and as sort of an aside, the last 20 laps of that race pretty much exemplified why i love nascar. i wish busch could have made a run at bowyer, but the second place battle was pretty decent i guess. :-/ )

however if i were to contradict it, the mention of jimmie johnson would blow out your "best talent since gordon" theory.
oh he's not my favorite. not even close. gordon is. i also like mears, burton, sadler, bowyer...some other dudes. i just think nascar needs someone to ruffle some feathers and make people hate him for semi-legitimate reasons. he's like a heel in wrestling. and a great one. (not to insinuate that nascar is equivalent to wwe. you know what i mean.)

and i think johnson benefited mostly from fantastic timing and a great team. not to say he isn't immensely talented. but put them in equal equipment and i'm not entirely sure who'd come out on top.

and as far as ruffling feathers, he can't. he's just obnoxious and no one listens to him when he bitches. and you want a bad boy go with Stewart.

but i like those other people you mentioned. good call.
stewart is just a cunt with an inexplicable sense of entitlement

(maybe busch is too. eh.)

really the main reason i said that is because i loooove seeing earnhardt lose. especially when it's for the 72nd consecutive time.

lol.

oh MAN. the end was GREAT. hamlin leads 381 of the first 382 laps, then his right front goes flat. earnhardt and busch split him as he slows, earnhardt comes out with the lead. he extends it, but hamlin stops on track and the caution comes out. busch gets a solid restart and he and earnhardt side by side for a bit, and then busch got loose under earnhardt and sent him spinning. busch slows and bowyer goes by. green/white/checker was pretty uneventful. no one challenged bowyer.

Wait a gosh darn minute... you talking about T-Stew like that? Seriously? Put 'em up fella. He's won at every level and would race shopping carts if he found someone to compete against.
