What's the point of all this negativity?

Everywhere you look there's really mean comments about the band, especially towards Billy, and there's very little constructive criticism, by very few people. I understand that we can't be happy about everything that has happened with this band but what I'm referring to is the really mean nasty destructive comments. That says more about you than it does about Billy and the rest of the people who have been part of the band. How does this particularly help you become a better person? Seriously, what's the point of all this negativity?

oh yea, I too wondered what the point is of gaslighting a former band mate, ridiculing her and topping it off with "guess this battered rockstar" with his buddy mancow. I keep wondering... I stopped wondering what the point is of defending the kkk, though. you know, that sort of negativity I really can't deal with.

Oh yeah, historically, if there's one thing Billy has been able to maturely take into consideration and act upon to enrich his life, it's constructive criticism.

what you call negativity, others call objective reality. some of us are butthurt, sure, but there is some good in pointing out how billydazzled constantly goes against his word, shits on friendships, etc. this is one place on the internet that doesn't censor, so users can get it all out. it may seem overly negative by contrast, but i'd ask sad machines what's with all the dick sucking

can you read? Corgan went on about the kkk, and not once, but in several interviews.

took me only 20 years to actually stop defending that person altogether. to myself, for the most part. as in I was very reluctant to accept that someone who made music that meant too much to me is actually a garbage person. some are slower than others...

It's actually only on Netphoria where this negativity prevails. That's why I only pop in now and again. I am a member of a number of other fan groups online and in the real world and in those groups it is for the most part just real love for the band and their music. Past and present.
