yeah the entire time travel thing in this movie was just soooo out there that it took me a bit to get passed it. but i liked how it ended with denzel's usual emotional speech to close the deal.
funny i couldnt get past the time travel thing in this movie but donnie darko is one of my favorite movies. maybe because in deja vu they spent like 10 minutes trying to explain it with like technical terms and whatnot. by the way how was camping kimmy? we went up to tehatchapi and it was awesome, i have a few pics i might share later. |

I thought Pan's was a serious disappointment. Children of Men was <3 times a million, though. How dare you group a mediocre film like Pan's Lab and a mindblowing film like Children of Men together! How dare you, I say! |

Featured? What do you mean. And why the rolley eyes that movie kicked dick. Also who are the Kills and surprisingly I have Donnie Darko on DVD but still have never seen it. Same fate has fallen on High Fidelity.

but yeah the kills were being played right before all the violence started in the car and also radiohead's life in a glasshouse was playing when owen initially met the old dude. that was the most noteable part out of the first hour or so of that movie to me, i was pretty bored and tired. |

i'll never see children of men. looks like a cheeseball factory with a pretentious moral at the end.

and trust me, there's no cheesy moral at the end. It does, however, have one of the best, most haunting endings i've ever seen.

I just rewatched Scoop, which I would classify as A material - really fun to watch with a group of friends.

I watched Ghost Rider, I Think I Love My Wife, and Anna Karenina on the plane.
Ghost Rider: wtf, who the hell was in charge of the cast in that movie?! everybody was disgusting and inappropriate. and why didn't ghost rider kill all those guys? and fuck eva mendez and all these stupid bitches who hang out with cameron diaz. I Think I Love My Wife: aww, it was cute. it made me want to throw some money out the window. Anna Karenina: no one was hott in that movie and the editing was bad. i think i remember a dissolve in there. |
