I don't believe I've ever done one of these, but I've thoughtfully participated in many. Keep that in mind as you ignore my thread.

Where would your dream vacation be? Who's your queer icon if any? Worst things about going to the beach? Are you a summer or a winter person? If you could be one other person and live their life for a full week, who would you pick? |

Something I could not endure. Other highlights in history are Ancient Egypt and Nazi Germany.

A South Korean-Japanese combo Kate Moennig (as Shane, mostly) Tegan and Sara (cliche but I have HUGE crushes on them) and Holland (not sure if he's reached iconic status but he's brave) I get sunburned in like 5 minutes. It's a shame because I love the beach/ocean. I usually just endure the pain! Summer forever! Keep your cold, wet, illness ridden, dark, deadly winter away from me! Whoever is secretly fucking Kim Sunggyu cuz I'm more than obsessed. Or maybe Courtney Love just to know the truth about a few things. =X |

You can drive over a snowy mountain for me on Wednesday and return me home on Friday. I don't want to! Oh, and there will be a 16 month old in the backseat, with a 50% chance of extreme irritability.

I can't wait to show her how to use a telescope, and how to stand up for herself and others when the world is shitty. Waldo is in all of us! I like Mediterranean food quite a lot, but I like most food |

I had a C-section, so it was painless at the time (although extremely nerve-wracking, and they had to insert the spinal twice because they missed the first time) but hurt unbelievably bad for about 7 weeks postpartum. And my ex didn't help me with a damn thing (part of the reason I left him) so I had to go up and down the stairs against medical advice to ensure my newborn was fed.
She was just over three weeks early, and was still feet first, but my water broke so I knew I'd be having a C-section within hours. Luckily there were no complications, and honestly I'd opt for it again because labor scares me. I realize I have spoken a great deal about my child since her birth, but kept my pregnancy and initial sobering up pretty hidden from netphoria. For the best. |

One other thing about giving birth that I didn't know....you shake for hours afterwards due to the adrenaline. My bottom half was numb from the spinal, but my top half was shaking like a leaf for quite a while. The nurses assured me it happened to everyone, but it was still alarming.
