I don't know any meth dealers. I'd probably have to talk to strangers that sounds way scary

Portishead had only 2 albums, Tricky well, as much as I love him, only one album I'd count

now if you'd try to come up with a list of the 10 greatest albums of the 90ies -
(and sure as hell no Weezer, no Pavement, and not sure if Nirvana had a place in the top 10)
That's my point. I'm not talking about an album or the best band of the 90's... I'm simply talking about which musicians had an extraordinary run over a relatively short period of time (3 years seems like a good measuring stick)

i think he meant their "initial run of success" or something

which is still somewhat baffling, in its own right

Warnings one of the worst... Perhaps only outdone by some of those Uno, Dos, Tres albums.

yes, it was pointed out.

fuzzy said "initial", but didn't mean "initial".
he just thought it'd look good in the thread title. it would give people the impression that he went to school and that he was able to use words with more than two syllables.

lmao no no no. I was just thinking that if I asked "Which 90's band had the best 3 year run" people would start wrangling off Radioheads later output on cue. I meant a groups original pop-culture introduction... Their initial big splash so to speak.

To be honest, that list probably changes from day to day for me. Theres just so many pivotal albums that I've been into from the 90's. A top 30 list would probably do me more justice.

you don't like radiohead's later output, so you added more vague and random rules

I'm not really a big rap guy myself, but theres definitely some of it I dig. I don't get what "being from the streets" has to do with appreciating it. It's like saying one can't appreciate punk because their not a lowlife hooked on speed.

I wanted to stick with when a band first made it big. I didn't wanna focus on how they evolved or anything like that. As I said, I wanted people to look at it in a vacuum.

Lmao CANNON-BALL!... ahh good ole 90's 1 hit wonders. Atleast they had a little bit of legitimacy due to Kim.

We all remember this 1 hit wonder group.

This songs still pretty sweet, pretty funny video

Kind of ripping off Pavements schtick though. But everyone was ripping off everyone in the 90's

The Breeders were better than anything on your list except MAYBE Smashing Pumpkins

HA! you're delusional man. The Breeders are shit. It was pretty nice evidence against any of those Pixies critics who argued that Deal was an integral piece to the band though.

You think that Smashing Pumpkins "MIGHT" only be better than the god-damned Breeders?

You're out to lunch
