i had tickets for their funeral tour show in halifax, but ended up having to miss it to attend a funeral. r.i.p. grampie

Went into a CD store looking for that album used in May '02. Looked it up on their computers, and it showed that they had one in stock. Plumbed the "A" section looking for it, to no avail. Asked the girl at the counter where it was at, struck up a conversation. Turned out, she had put it into the 5 disc changer behind the counter to play in store.
She asks me out on a date before I could work up the courage to. We go out the following week. 5 years later, she became my wife. 4.5 years later, she still is. Not only is that a killer album, but there's that whole thing. |
