appeared to be like a bumble date that she insisted on introducing me to...though why?

One of the last goth dance things I went to, I ran into this goth girl I met on the train once. We had hung out once (just as pals, it wasn't even a date) and got along, but then she kinda ghosted me.

She was happy to see me, told me about how she always knew she'd run into me again, and how she was sorry for "being mean to me" by ghosting me. I always got the impression with her that it was an anxiety thing rather than a matter of her just being inconsiderate, so I was never sore at her in the first place. I feel like I can just tell sometimes.

It's funny, because we hang out in the same friend group now, even though we both found our ways to that friend group independently. I guess there's only a limited number of goths in this town.

She comes from the small town just outside our city, so she can't come out a whole lot.

She has a cute friend whose number I got, but she never texted me back.
