Agree with Drown on SD. Starla, too (or maaaaybe Gish). I would replace Silverfuck and Spaceboy with those two and have the perfect experience.

Mouth of Babes on M2. It clashes a bit but I think it would be good there, alongside Slow Dawn, Real Love, etc

I've never thought about messing with the tracklisting of any album I like, and the idea makes me profoundly uncomfortable, despite some very interesting ideas here
Mods plz ban |

I genuinely have never messed with a tracklisting and have, owing to growing up with cassettes, a real problem not listening to an album all the way through even if there are songs I don't like
I recognize this is strange behavior So perhaps the true villain here is…NO, STILL YOU, YOU DEMON |

one time in high school i burnt a copy of Radiohead's Amnesiac on CD for a friend & replaced like 3 of the tracks with b-sides from the era and didn't tell him anything, lolz
needless to say, the next morning I was arrested & thrown into "juvy" |

Isn't skipping a track on a regular basis (me and Tear) more or less like editing the track listing?
Also, with mp3s I often add b-sides to the ends of albums rather than keep them separately, because i am more likely to listen to them this way. You should see the version of Adore on my computer - heavily modified w/ box set tracks. |

making a compilation or swapping out album tracks with b-sides or unreleased songs from the era is one thing tho
swapping tracks cross-album... that's just sinful! (& frankly, kind of confusing) |

Yeah, I'd say this is allowable as long as you stay within eras. Cross that line and your looking at some real-deal high-priest-tearing-his-robes blasphemy.

I would say it doesn't match the Gish composition style of heavy songs either. The heavy songs on SD are way more metal, way more Black Sabbath influenced.

It is amazing how utterly different but original and high quality Gish and SD are musically and sonically. And only 2 years apart.
Remember how great the b0llster once was? Now look at him. |
