I'm sure you know about Swedish pop metal band In Flames, so that first one is called Idolum by a band named Ufomammut. It's uh.....some spaced out droney metal stuff. Not sure if I like it yet, but it's quite different.

Good point... old In Flames stuff isn't THAT bad, but the new stuff makes Teargarden look like a prog epic

Hahahahaha I didn't even know how to make an avatar on a message board before I joined this site and now I'm a total WOW nerd. Keep talking to me and soon I'll be able to have a career in tech support.

In Flames has nothing to do with nerds, you supposed music buff. They've only been around since the 90s.

Try Clayman, that's my favorite of theirs. It's a little effect-happy for metal but there are a lot of fun riffs.

I mean, it's Swedish pop metal so if you actually listen to it don't expect quality lyrics.

Anyway, I listened to this fiery little album today, I don't really care that it's for 16 year olds, I like the way they fade the guitars and the singer reminds me of a motherfucking cowboy!

Everybody wants to be a little more artistic but why do they listen to such shitty music? Are they not aware that music can be art, too?

I am actually kind of disappointed by this album because I thought it would be heavier. But Aileron is incredible.
