you cant get elected saying this kind of shit:

"This war on drugs is totally out of control. If you want to regulate cigarettes and alcohol and drugs, it should be at the state level," he said.

Paul said he wants to eliminate foreign aid to Israel and other nations. "Why make Israel so dependent?" he asked. "They can't defend their borders without coming to us."

Paul doesn't have anything to lose - it's not like he was ever going to win. I think this kind of thing is good though, because he's at least popular enough to get statements like that into the mainstream.

He refused to equivocally rule out a 3rd party run the other day, so the question is, is he going to spoil the right or the left?
