I find it hard to listen to “Perfect” right now for some reason. All those layers and layers of carefully constructed sound just sound like an endless abyss of highly intellectualized self-absorption to me.

 ah... a refreshing opinion! but yeah, it's one of those tracks that you can tell is from the mid-to-late 90s but not in a way that deters from the song. just makes me feel like i'm orderin pizza at the bowling alley or what have you |
