Monte's obsessive snooping pays off...

The Adore reissue bonus disc are named after 3 Greek Muse, Polyhymnia (Muse of Hymns), Erato (Muse of Lyric Poetry), & Melpomene (Muse of Tragedy). Melpomene is a live CD containing tracks from multiple shows in 1998. The CDs contained the following tracks.

According to the now missing page this new boxset will contain a Live DVD called Dark Garden which is concert footage from May 14th 1998, along with bonus footage of Billy Corgan’s concert at the Viper Room on January 15th, 1998.

In addition a hard bound book containing personal notes, lyrics, personal pictures and special pop-up art on the center page.

As for a release date, the page said “midsummer release”, with no date.

Their will also be a remastered version of Adore in mono available on LP.

I wonder what "winter afternoon," "poltroon," and "fer blues" are like. I'm guessing instrumentals. "Tatterdemalion" is another I've never heard of.

Seems like there was more that could've been added to this. Didn't they record 12 songs with matt Cameron? One of them being pug? That should've been one disc alone.

What's hilarious about this is that it didn't phase me at all that Billy would name the three disks after a few of the Greek Muses.

Monte definitely got help with this one.

The most disappointing part about this is that we're going to get some ugly ass boxset by Noel Wagner instead. I would love it if they would just use Yelena's photography as the focus (now that I look at the boxset pictures closely, none of them look like any of Yelena's outtakes, her subject matter, and the tones are off).

I don't know why they keep making them shiny, and there's not much consistency between the designs of each set, even though they're designed by the same person. I didn't like the MCIS reissue at all either, it's unnecessarily fucking massive to boot.

oh for fuck's sake - I feel like a dick for falling for this. Pretty goddam elaborate for Monte. I'm shocked - [i]must[i] have had help with this. Album artwork is too goddam good, along with everything else.

If it's definitely an April Fools, I'm pretty relieved as wanted to see more rare stuff - makes sense now that the page he found the info is apparently "missing".
