I really love James' first album.
Billy's attitude towards it sucks tough. The stuff he's said about James trying to market himself as alt.country to cash in, or how he could have "fixed" the album if James had only asked him for help really annoys me. It's like...let James record his own damn album ya douche canoe. It's like in Billy's mind, a James solo record is still part of the Pumpkin Camp. |

the CD filled a slot in my CD tower really well, when i was a teen. also, the cover had a really nice shade of yellow for the border.
well worth paying full price for. can't wait for the reissue. |

Guys. I love James Iha. He's an essential part of the Pumpkins. But Billy Corgan is without question a better songwriter, lyricist, singer, and guitar player. James has put out some charming solo albums, but come on. Even if Billy's post SP1 production choices drive you into a rage, there is no question that even in the fucking TbK era he was capable of shitting out a song better than peak 90's James.
