Who had a bigger influence? Sade or Michael Jackson?
I was thinking about how Thriller and Sade's Diamond Life are probably two of the biggest modern albums by black artists. I'm sure there are countless artists who cite them as inspiring or influencing them.

Think about all the American and European R&b artists influenced by Sade. And then think about all the downtempo and trip hop artists also influenced by her.

And think about all the women pop singers since the 80s who have claimed Whitney Houston as an influence.....
