Default Smashing Pumpkins 20th Anniversary Tour Pro-Audio Shows

I don't know why but I had 99 Floors stuck in my head out of nowhere and remembered they pro-recorded and released CDs of a bunch of their live shows during the 20th Anniversary tours.

I've looked everywhere, but they just aren't around anymore! Zero seeds on torrent sites and dead links on upload sites.

If someone has the mp3's of one of these shows, an upload would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

You could buy all 24 shows together for a discount on that site, but it comes to around $375

Looks like the boxset is still available...

If you click to buy the CD for the first OR last show, it gives you the option to...

"Order all 24 SMP Box Set Discount shows"

Each CD $21.95... so 24 x $21.95 = $526.80

But if you do the upgrade deal, it only costs $378.47

You save almost $150

does anyone know what to expect in terms of quality? Are they jewel cases? Digipacks/paper sleeves? Do they have ANY liner notes, maybe just a list of personnel on the inside? Is there a tracklisting on the back?

if anyone can help me out i will be MORE THAN HAPPY to buy this set (im kind of an archivist/completist when it comes to LIVE stuff... i dont even own monuments to an elegy on vinyl yet, that can wait...) and after I buy it i can provide detailed pictures... unless its a piece of shit... what about the box? is that basically a weak "paper" box? or is it on par with the reissues, albeit bigger and with less artwork?

THANKS!

If you wanna know what the art is like, on every page for each individual show is its CD artwork for download on the bottom right.
From pics I've seen, it looks like they are printed as digipacks or wallets, but looks like that recycled brown/tan type cardboard
Most shows are 2 discs, a couple are actually 3.

Aren't the discs CD-Rs as opposed to pressed CDs?

yes, they come in cardboard sleeves. every show has its own artwork sticker, but they all look very similar.
and yes, these are cd-rs, not pressed cds.
the "box set" isn't really a box set. they just send the 24 cds in a box where they slapped another "artwork" sticker on. the box is just a regular cardboard box, and is actually too big for the 24 recordings.

i think spfreaks.com has some pictures. let me have a look.

yeah I just ordered the 10/31/08 show on CD just to demo it out... if i'm satisfied with the quality i'll buy the massey hall shows of which i was in attendance... i seriously considered all 24.... but.... i dont know... seems excessive.... there wasn't THAT much variation throughout the tour... although they started to play jupiters lament, meladori magpie, and rotten apples by the end of the tour.... didnt they?

im still considering buying the whole set but like acid_barrett said there wasn't too much variation. I may just buy select shows but fuck, $360 for a cd-r collection seems dubious

who here actually has this?!

So freaking lame that they couldn't even get the box in the correct size. Amateurs.

I bought it a few years ago. they fucked up and sent a duplicate of one of the shows. if i'd known the quality before purchasing i would've saved my $$$.
download them illegally. definitely not worth it.

i think i would've bought this if they were proper cds.
but for this quality, and at that price, nah. maybe if i had gone to one of the shows, i could have made an exception. but otherwise, no.

spfreaks says it's currently out of print.
is it really, though? can't you still order them on livedownloads.com?

if you buy the cd for one show, a suggestion will appear in the shopping cart to upgrade to all 24 shows.

I explained in previous posts above, all you have to do is add either the CD of the first show OR the last show to the cart and the option will come up to order the full 24 CD boxset. It has to be either the first or last show on CD only for the upgrade option to show up. Click to buy the first show on CD and the option will be available to upgrade to the full box set in the cart.
