Perhaps this is the most dynamic thing we have seen the Pumpkins do since Jimmy would come out and play guitar on 1979 or in the small clip during Mayonnaise in Vieuphoria where we see Billy playing drums and later he would play the timpani in 2008.

A surprise followed: 33 with Mike playing the Mellotron just like he did in 2011 when he played For Martha. (Sophie sp.com)
I didn't know that.

Like in Germany, we had a "God Bless America (Americans maybe)" at the end of the show, don't know what to think about that. Is he ironical? Is he worried about something and need to express it to the whole world?

Anyway, good surprise to hear Imploding Voice, with crunchy guitars, really energic.
A lot of hits for me, I get bored really fast actually....
Billy can still sing very high (on Immigrant Song)
And yes, Billy is not really nice on stage these days, it seems like he HAS TO play these hits, and is (like the German review says) a bit ironical, like in fact he would prefers to shit on his fans......... that's my feeling

Thanks, after reading Sophie's review (sang with emotion, bonded with fans...) I wondered how he managed to completely change over night.

How full was the Zénith? I read it holds 6.400 but didn't sell out.

33 sounds great besides that horrible out of tune singing in the audience. i'd like to hear a clean copy of it, hopefully someone taped (is anyone, i haven't kept up?)

blank page sounds awful at first but gets better... but it's hard to tell with the youtube quality.

It wasn't full, there were drapes at the back of the tiered seats but still was ok.

These performances look and sound so much fucking better than ones I saw from the last couple of shows. The Blank Page/Thirty-Three combo sounded good.
