went to work, left early with anxiety, jerked off, played re6, listened to m b v a few times, made a couple posts on here, debating how to get myself committed indefinitely

late night. little sleep in days. fucking exhausted. up at 6 work at 7. one of my co-workers is missing and another is on vacation so i'm working between 12 and 16 hours a day.

to do today:
fix the hole in the bathroom door from when the guy got locked in there for an hour
work on some of the bunk beds
sketch out a cartoon hero mascot for a party my house mate is organizing
stay awake.

It's my birthday! Just an ordinary day, except that I got to meet Bonnie and Avram at a tea house. That was fairly extraordinary. They were my frist netphorian meetup.

It has been a good day. I can make whatever I want for dinner. I think I'm going to make a winter squash torte with yeast raised whole wheat crust. Haven't made that for years. And I'll have a whiskey tonight. Might go out walking tonight. Off to play some piano now. Such a good day.

I'm glad you're having a good birthday vix

I woke up today having plans that ended at about midday, and didn't have anything planned for the rest of the day.

Firstly, I knew that a cousin of an olllllld school friend of mine was going to pay a visit. Their grandmother (who is a good friend of my mother) had called me earlier last week, and wanted to arrange a meeting with me and this guy while he was over from Australia. He's a musician, and like me is lacking a solid direction in life. He was interested in discussing the audio course that I studied, and just music and audio in general, and maybe jam if there was time.

So he turned up and my old friend (his cousin) came with him, which was a surprise. It was a beautiful day too. We had our meeting over morning tea. We talked a bit about My Bloody Valentine (which he hadn't heard of) and shoegaze (which he surprisingly had heard of). Then I was offered to come with them back to their grandparent's house for lunch, and then to the nearby river to do water-skiing with someone they knew. On the car ride to the house we listened to Loveless. When we got there the house was amazing and I got a huge pang of nostalgia because it reminded me of my late grandmother's house, especially the furniture. I don't know how to describe the style but it's kind of antique and "regal" I guess.

We went to the river and my old friend had to leave us for some other meeting he was going to, so it was just me, his cousin that I'd just met, and a couple of other people that we'd both just met but it was cool because we were like this anyway. There was an older guy maybe in his 50s who owned the boat and most of the equipment, a 26 year old wakeboarding lady and a 16 year old Argentinian exchange student boy. A bit later on another older couple came along with their 26yo son and two Dutch tourist ladies. It was a nice atmosphere. It was actually the first time that I had boated up this river, and it's only about a kilometre away from my house. We were all hanging out on this quaint little bach accessible only by water.I had a good flirt with all of the girls. We all had turns skiiing or wakeboarding (I skied) and it was a fuckload of fun and I got everyone's numbers by the end.

Oh yeah thanks for doing that nixvix, really nice of you. I know I said that data is a premium here and didn't want to download a ~700MB iso file, but I feel like a hippocrit since I downloaded 1.5GB of hi-res My Bloody Valentine.

Day off from work. Took two exams, back early, smoking a bowl and waiting for 4pm. USA v. Honduras World Cup qualifying match

Had a really good workout at the gym, delivered some approach letters to recording studios, met a bunch of people I haven't seen for a while, got digits.
