yo -- i saw The Thermals last week in chicago @ subterranean. they were fucking awesome. they're touring with a 4th member (additional guitarist) that gives a really kickass THICK sound live. you will love it.

also checking out sparklehorse, bloc party, mastadon, black angels, calla, tom morello....the list of who we HOPE to see goes on and on. we're making our itinerary this weekend. hopefully we'll see most of what we want to see. we have badges.

explosions in the sky are coming here, but i have to save my days off to go to mexico this summer.

so, i'll just be seeing these shows in the forseeable future:
3.17- blood brothers in omaha, ne

4.17- the gaslights (local band, i think) here in KCMO

4.21- the decemberists in kansas city, mo

4.30- clap your hands say yeah randomly playing in a casino bar (KCMO)

5.11- hot hot heat/ the killers (if i can nab tix this saturday, i won't be around until about an hour after they go on sale)
