Most famous people I've met are in bands w varying degrees of notoriety. So like, Billy Corgan who a lot of people would know. Trent Green who sports call peeps would know. Can't think of anyone the gen pop would recognize by name.

add the occupational therapist I mentioned I dated for 6 months that watched big brother types shows, a Chinese girl I was with a year and a half that moved to Toronto to study, and the girl I think I already mentioned who I ended up still living with after we had split (we were together 2 years, well ok 6 months where we just lived together) and then my ongoing relationship and you have the full count. I regret all these relationships pretty much. I mean save for the ongoing one.

Well....I don't really count Ammy as having been an actual gf. Not a diss on her. I just mean, looking back you know, it wasn't much of a relationship at all. It was closer to hs school gf type thing. It felt important at the time. It wasn't really.

and Brandon..you dodged a bullet. Let's leave it at that.

Yeah she's been for a long while. I haven't seen her in years though.

And hi Shaunna.

You should form a punk band.
And just channel that anger.

Shit, I knew I was writing it wrong. Just wasn't sure where I was going wrong exactly.

Jesus man just pick up a guitar. Learn a few chords,. It's easy to pretend you know what you're doing providing they dont' play themselves. Really back then I mianly played bass and a bit of guitar and I don't exactly remember going around advertising myself as a "musician" and I don't think playing bass gets anyone laid anyway. I'm still a poor guitarist by guitarists standards. I'm pretty sure whatever instruments I ever played has never been the main reason why some girls have somehow been interested in me. I'm also pretty sure I don't know the reason why any ever were.

I met Calvin Johnson from Beat Happening last year during a solo show he played in Evansville, Indiana. I tried not to gush and be awkward but it was awesome.

Swoon

Learning to play guitar was literally the greatest decision I ever made.

At almost every party I go to there's a point where everybody is sitting around me watching me play.
And that kind of attention is perfect for getting whatever attractive girl you're after or whatever.

Personaly I don't call the 99% 'guitarists'. They play guitar, their cover of Bob Dylan and U2 is good enough for sitting around a fire and get wasted. Nice. Enjoyable activity. Paco de Lucia is what I call a guitarist.

Semantics, but to me it's like people who say "write a book." Just need the right attitude, and you can learn it". Publishing some writing isn't being an author.
