He didn't say it was strictly her fault, but he said he tried to meet her and it would never happen - it gives me the impression that she would give some excuses not to meet them "like, oh, my mom is here now, I don't want to be rude to her".

James was asked how he feels about Darcy giving out to him about the reunion and he was like "I was even involved in their conversations"

Anyone get the impression that the new SP material is going to revolve around aliens and shape shifters?

Solara sounded better than Fallon I guess.

It sounds better tho. It sounds more Pumpkins than last night's performance. Billy's vocals sounds way way better buried, even with his voice cracking up so many times!

Sweet BWBW performance. He's toned it down quite a bit on the vocals but it works.

Jimmy's playing sounded more aggressive, maybe he's over the interview, he was pretty quick to count it off..

BC rates the two Solara performances; Fallon 7/10 & Stern 8.7/10

"Vince McMahon is an absolute genius."

Let's end the interview wanking off about professional wrestling. ok.

"Do that thing with the guitar again."

Stern talking music theory is ridiculously funny.

I get that BC loves professional wrestling but was it necessary for him and Stern to burn the last 5 or more minutes of the interview on it? First interview with BC, James and Jimmy since 2000 and that's how they want to close it? Billy did all the talking anyway. Would have been nice to hear more from James and Jimmy. James didn't seem like he even wanted to be there and I tuned in too late to catch anything Jimmy said.

Not Billy's / Howard's fault, James was asked a few questions and just sounded evasive even about the stupid questions.

Somebody just asked Howard why didn't he ask James more questions and he says "He doesn't talk, man! I had people demanding me to get at least 3 or 4 words from him, but it's really hard!"

Did you guys honestly expect James to all of a sudden gush about everything, especially anything remotely personal/uncomfortable?

Super classy they played some weird 1979 parody with lyrics changed to talk about how big Robin's breasts are. Stern then thanked Titty Corgan and the Bouncing Pumpkins for stopping as a segue into Robin's news segment. This was all 5-10 minutes after the band left, I just had the volume low on some speakers at work and forget it was still on until I heard what I thought was going to be 1979. I'm sure BC's impressed or maybe him and Stern have some weird relationship where he's thrilled that he got dissed moments after ending the interview.

Edit: I understand this is Stern's humor and that's probably how a lot of interviews end. I'm just not a fan.
