as part of my diet i usually cook three breasts of chicken, cut it up, and seal it in a container. but so today i cooked some adobo chicken but by the time i took it out of the oven i was so fucked up and hungry i ended up eating the whole thing. it wasn't a conscious thing... it was like, it just happened. and when it did i was like, woax i fucked up... then i looked at the servings and realized i'd just downed like 1500 calories

so i went to the gym and frantically tried to burn it off on the elliptical and when i was nearing the end of my session some asshole came up to me and told me to take my headphones off and asked my why i was going so hardcore. i told him my situation and he was like oh good luck shedding off you're weight bro... i was like -_- ... 135 lbs and i still need to 'shed off all that weight'

but dat adobo chicken though.. yummerz

sometimes i get the urge to down like a lb of roasted chicken, not gonna front

havent done it in a long time though. i used to buy fresh so id always cook 1-2lbs at a time, but now i get frozen cutlets and just cook what im going to eat. chicken is tasty.

went to the grocery and i just bought and cooked some ahi tuna, chipotle chicken breasts, sweet chili chicken breasts, terriyaki pork tenderloin and BBQ pork tenderloin. i'm set for the month

nope. i also don't like eggs either, i am awfully picky. i used to be allergic to eggs when i was kid and threw them up a lot. i outgrew the allergy but not the disdain for them. tastes like puke. i could dig on some pancakes and fruit though, gonna see what we got

how da fucc do you cook and store enough fresh meat all at once to last a month. i'm assuming its not already frozen because you could just keep it in the freezer. are you cooking all of this fresh and then freezing it?

i'm so perplexed. a month? and where/how did you cook it all at once?

yeah.. nothing to it. when i get back from the grocery i plop one piece in the oven, wait while watching a movie or whatever, take it out, cut it up, put it in a plastic container or bag and stuff it in the freezer. then i take out the next meat and repeat. then the next and so on..

these are all pre-marinated meats by the way. so i'm not doing any preparing i'm just taking them right out of the sealing ... also i was kind of joking about it lasting me a month but i should be good for awhile

if these are non-frozen pre-seasoned meats i guess maybe you are saving time going to the grocery store excessively or waiting for your oven to heat up. i guess that's where you would be losing the most time.

i'm all for staying out of the kitchen as much as possible but an entire month seemed a bit excessive. i could see maybe a week or two with a nice pork shoulder or tenderloin and a bunch of chicken though.

i've been working a lot so i had to do it all this weekend or it'd never be done and then i'd have to eat tv dinners or whatever the rest of the week. every time i try to cook on a week day i end up passing out and the meat will be like 5 hours overcooked by the time i wake up.

also what speeds things up is putting foil over the baking tray. just take it off when you're done. boom. no cleaning

Anyway what they need to do is maybe ask her what she'd like. Crazy suggestion maybe. My gf rarely has any money that's hers especially when she's here, but here's what i do when i go out to buy food: "hey....what would you like to have?" Also she happens to not eat eggs either so one thing i'd definitely never do is bring home just breakfast with eggs. Unless i wanted to appear like an insensitive dick.
