According to a site called "behind the name", Philomena is Greek and partly means "friend, lover".
It all makes sense. |

I kinda think Philomena is uncomfortably close in sound and sight to phallus.

I like the name a lot, tbh. It's fanciful and whimsical, but at the same time... actual names. Uncommon, old-fashioned names, but fairly tame. The perfect mix of pretentious, but somehow... shockingly normal? And not trendy. I'd liken it to Alanis' daughter, Onyx Solace.
The Chamberlin kids have super normal names and the Iha kids are basically named the Park Slope versions of Sophia and Aidan. The worst part about the new kid is that her initials are PC. He'll call her PCC in all posts. Sine? |

Aside from the phallus thing though, Philomena and Clementine don't go well with Corgan, I don't reckon.
Hopefully she'll be Philomena Clementine Mendel because that actually does sound pretty good. With a last name like Corgan I reckon you're better off doing what Conan O'Brien and his wife did - going with a traditional name or a famous namesake. Like Aine or Blanaid something. But it does sound/look great with Mendel. |

Sheesh yeah that is crazy
Dave Letterman tells some pretty morbid jokes about being an older Dad. Makes it seem pretty funny. I guess it's not so unusual for guys of that generation?? |

I never thought Billy would have kids tbh, based on the level of distress his own childhood obviously caused him. He's said on IG that his only experience of family life came from 70's TV, and it's pretty obvious he's experiencing childhood for the first time alongside his own kids.

I don't intend to have kids, but if I did, I'd probably also be one of those "weird name" parents.
I like names based on calendar dates and time, for some reason. September. Wednesday. Eve. December. I like Valentine, but even though it's a given name, it sounds better as a surname. Too bad you can't just give people surnames. Other names I like are Celeste and Luna. Then, I also like some normal names, like Madeleine and Molly. None of these names go well with my Scottish last name, though. They'd provide for some pretty cumbersome full names. I can't think of any boy names I really like. |

Phil Lynott's mother's name is Philomena. We know Billy loves Thin Lizzy.
I like the name. Clementine as well. |
