i know you are rude. and don't care. but whatever you say will NOT make believe like you do.

The church is true! I believe! I know it! And i am sorry that your life is filled with such hate.

oh, no, they had blue, pinkerton, green, maladroit, and make believe. AND they're coming out with one this year!

i can't hate, though, B and I saw them in June 2005 and that remains the best summer of my existence, so they are OK with me by association.

yeah, i was resistant at first to the blue because i really got into them with green (i mean, i had heard "buddy holly" and a few others)...but yeah, blue is awesome.

i never did get around to listening to the deluxe version they put out, though.

What bothers me about the Mormon religion is their tactics to get people to come to their church. They refuse to take no for an answer. They will keep coming to your door.

They also do not believe women can get into heaven until men part the veil for them. And then, they must do their secret hand shake to make certain it is their spouse, or whomever they chose to bind themselves to in life.

They also believe that black people go to a separate heaven. (I'm sure the black people are fine with that)

A long time ago I visted Adam ondi ahman in Missouri. The woman I met with tried to tell me there was gold buried beneath a place on the land called "preachers rock". And she wanted to know if I was there to go looking for it. lol I had to explain I was writing a paper....she also told me that the place was someday going to be full of Mormon priests, since it was the site of the true garden of eden. When I brought up the fact that they were driven out of Missouri due to their celestial marriages, she got pissed off and refused to speak anymore about it.

The fact remains, that many Mormons often take girls, aged 13 - 14 and engage them to men in their 30's, 40's, and 50's, so that they get a virgin. Many have been investigated or arrested for statutory rape.

I don't mean to shit all over your religion Monte, but there are alot of questionable things about it that either makes absolutely no sense, or are abusive to children and women. It's hard for me to believe anyone can get on board with that kind of a belief system and be okay with it.

That isn't always true. Some missionary's are just over zeals. If someone isn't interested I wouldn't waste my time visiting and teaching them... also note that the missionary's (the ones who go door to door sometimes) are always being rotated. As often as every 6 weeks.

some people take a lot of time to join the church because it is a very big change in lifestyle for some, along with a huge commitments. It isn't something someone would take lightly. But most people still show interest as they figure out if they are ready to make the change.

Most importantly though, it is a spiritual change... but i am sorry to hear that you meet some pushy members of the church.

As for a point of correction.
We do not believe that blacks go to separate heavens.

The person who you spoke to at Adam ondi ahman was obviously CRAZY! I don't know where people make up stuff like this.

As for the Mormon girls you are talking about. that is not the same church. That is what is known as the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They have NOTHING to do with the same church that I go to. They are in no way affiliated with the church i belong to.

I am very aware of what the church teaches. I have personally been in countless classes and gone over countless official active church policy's along with reading all official scripture of the church. I very much understand what I believe and I understand that not everyone will believe. But I wish people just wouldn't slander the church with things that aren't true. I am not accusing you of doing that, but I think you got a lot of misinformation.
