this is a good thread title.
when I was younger people would say things like "how do you think you'll look when you're old and grey, do you think you'll like it then?" and at that time the only old people I had seen w/ tattoos were old people w/ military tattoos in that green/blue, usually on their upper arm well anyway I was at the airport recently and saw an old grey woman covered in tattoos -- made me realize that we've hit that point in time and there are many many old and grey people covered in them; saw another one on the street the other day I'm not driving at any point here, just thought it was a funny way to mark how much time has passed have never been inclined to get a tattoo |

a tattoo of a band thing seems somewhat relative to a tattoo of a girlfriend's name (to most people, at least,) if only quite a bit more reliable it won't be totally out of your life within the next year or so - that smiley face is a pretty good idea for a tattoo though, considering it's just a cool little symbol that i think people would get a message from regardless of your present feelings on the band it was associated with
on the other hand though, fuck it, haha! |

i have two tattoos. one on my shoulder blade and some text that runs the length of my right leg. i have toyed with several ideas over the past few years since i got the last one in 2010, but haven't been ready to pull the trigger. i'll probably wind up getting more. they have just been pretty expensive.

I remember there was this really active, awesome Weezer community online in the late 90's called the "Rebel Weezer Alliance"- Everyone was really passionately in love with all of their output at the time and countless people had all of these Weezer tattoos. The whole communities dead now (to no surprise) and I'm sure a lot of those people feel pretty lame repping big Weezer tattoos after seeing what the band turned out to be.
So yeah, I wouldn't get the tattoo man. |

I super wanted to get a tattoo as a teen, but my mom was against it. She said I had to wait until I was 18 if I wanted to get one.
When I finally was old enough to get one, I didn't really want to. |

The only tattoo I've ever wanted, are these:
http://data2.whicdn.com/images/9652624/thumb.png Sort of a private joke with myself. And maybe a semi colon, even though it's considered a total cliche now. |

I've wanted those since I was 17 or 18, and I still like the idea of them. But I don't have any, yet.

On the subject of tattoos: I really hate those "text" tattoos that have become a thing in the past five years. They all look terrible. ALL OF THEM.
