I do not understand people who prefer him to warren. They have similar ideas but she laid out more of a plan in a week than he has in his entire career. He gave us Trump. Fuck him.

But if he somehow gets the nomination I will happily vote for him.

So maybe he should just fuck halfway off. I am 100% sure my vote literally does not matter because my state is going to go Democrat like I am. Same thing in a different state in 2016 but look who's eating fast food in the Oval Office. So.

I think all of the candidates running have the potential to beat Trump. They also all have weak spots or questionable choices that could be weaponized against them. I think Bernie is probably the most squeaky clean but I honestly don't want him to run. I like Warren but feel she might be better as VP.

Right now it seems to me that Kamala Harris is the best positioned to be considered a front-runner, if such a judgement is possible this early. Booker is probably my least favorite. I also like Tulsi quite a lot but her views have changed a lot over time and she had that weird thing with Assad.
I think a ticket like Harris/Gillibrand could be really powerful. |

I don't think "he elected Trump" would be a very effective attack against him. Warren's stupid DNA test is a bigger liability. I meant in terms of things these people have done in the past which could come back to haunt them. Bernie is pretty clean, and he has always been consistent.

but like I said, I don't even want him to run
a lot of Dems have been talking about how we can't win just by being anti-Trump, but I don't think that is true. In November, we saw Dems from across the political spectrum do very, very well. Trump is the ultimate animus for liberal America and ultimately I am going to wind up voting for who I think is strongest against Trump, not who I identify most with ideologically |

The dna test thing was really dumb. But I want this to be about policy. And “I literally want to take money from rich people” is a fabulous message. If you want squeaky clean you go to buttigieg! What a story. Gay married Rhodes scholar Afghanistan war vet. Like. What more could you want. He is also incredibly eloquent. |

I understand what they're trying to say, but the whole "hur hur Trump declared a national emergency for the wall, we'll just declare a national emergency to initiate gun control or climate change regulations" line of reasoning coming from the pundits is dangerous talk. I hope candidates are smart enough to realize that this is the kind of talk that fires up the ammosexuals and gets Trump re-elected.

That won't get Trump re-elected. Only Dems staying home could keep him in the WH, and i say that from the standpoint of electoral mathematics. He needs some combo of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Florida to win

ammosexual
A sexual fetish that finds pleasure in the power to kill dozens of people with the pull of a trigger. An ammosexual may understand the desire of other people to live, but feels all the greater pleasure in contemplating that he has the power to overcome that desire with his power. Ammosexuals are very protective of their fetish, and attack even the slightest gun safety measure on the grounds that they interfere with their pleasure. Many ammosexuals practice the religion of gundamentalism or demand the invasion of weaker countries as a means of reaching wargasm. After every mass killing, ammosexuals gather for an orgy of suppressing gun control measures. |

there were many factors that gave us Trump. Trump won through a perfect storm of things going in his favor. If you subtract any one of those factors, Clinton probably would have won. Bernie is one of those factors, but so is Clinton's incompetence.

The whole anti-establishment idea is monstrously stupid and he hung his hat on it. So when it came to the general... we all know what happened. I do not have very solid data on this but I feel it in my fucking bones. Which is a bad way to think about stuff but we have so many great candidates now. He needs to fuck off. |

If the claim is that "he criticised Clinton during the primaries" when he should have not said anything that could later be used as fuel against the inevitable frontrunner, that contradicts historical evidence, which shows that tough primaries actually tend to help the nominee.
But if the claim is something else, then I am not aware of it, and need to be enlightened. Be gentle, I'm Canadian. |

I like Lizzy Warren too
I think in strictly policy terms Bernie is just slightly left of her sadly I think she's far less electable though |

Robby Mook really shit the bed.
I was a Hillary supporter back in 2008. I don’t understand why people need to be inspired. The job should be boring! I really think she would have been an excellent president. |
